J. David Zehntbauer

Mr. Zehntbauer focuses his practice on the creation and legal needs of Oregon partnerships, corporations, and limited liability companies; and he provides individual clients with assistance in wills and trusts; probates and estates; and conservatorships and guardianships. His real estate practice is diverse, and he represents a wide range of clients in entity selection, purchases and sales, 1031 exchanges, leases, easements, condominium modifications, water rights, and new development. Mr. Zehntbauer works closely with several local venture capital firms where he draws upon his contacts in the local high-tech community to facilitate Oregon's growth as a participant in the new economy.

After obtaining a B.A. in sociology from the University of California at Santa Barbara, Mr. Zehntbauer earned his law degree from Willamette University College of Law, graduating cum laude and serving as the business editor of the Willamette Law Review. At the same time, Mr. Zehntbauer earned his M.B.A. from the Atkinson Graduate School of Management where he was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society and served as the vice-president of the Joint Degree Association.

In addition to his law practice, Mr. Zehntbauer enjoys both indoor and outdoor sporting activities; and his pro bono work includes volunteer efforts at the Lake Oswego Senior Center where he addresses the legal needs of low-income senior citizens.

Mr. Zehntbauer is a member of the Oregon State Bar, the American Bar Association, and the Multnomah County Bar Association; and he has lectured on such topics as, "Advising Businesses Regarding Day-to-Day Affairs." He and his wife live in Portland with their daughter.
